I am answering about the indian retail unit. redmi 4 comes with android marshmallow and marshmallow provides limited otg support. it means that otg drive would be detected by your phone but the files present on your otg wont get added to the respective media players.. I've tryied fat32 but still not working it's just redmi 4, not prime however i've installed a otg checker and it says that otg is supported miui version 8.0.5.0.0. Ane dulu juga pake redmi ko gan miui 8 jengkel karena notif telat mulu akhirnya ane jual aja dah, ini pake galaxy note 3. tapi kalo redmi 4 prime udah ga telat"an lagi notifnya bisa dipikirkan deh buat balik ke miui lagi..
