Shotcut is anther video editing software for linux and it is an interesting one because its ui looks more like a media player than an editor. the software makes editing video very simple with the set of awesome features it has.. Linux gets my pick as the best multi-media production platform because it is flexible, efficient, and secure. your system resources are going to your work, rather than in supporting a bloaty operating system further bogged down by marginally-effective anti-malware software.. In this video i discuss kdenlive a great video editing program made for linux. so far so good kdenlive is a great video editing program that can help streamline your video needs on linux..
Lightworks is a top notch, professional-grade video/movie editor which recently released a beta version for linux as well. lightworks was perhaps one of the firsts to adopt computer-based non-linear editing systems, and has been in development since 1989.. Having tried numerous video editors for my linux mint install, i have finally settled down with kdenlive – a non-linear video editor that can handle three video tracks and two audio tracks.. For basic all the way through to advanced video editing “pitivi” is the best hands down. i also believe it is the future of video editing on linux especially now it has good funding. it is the nicest looking editor with a easy interface and i find the program very stable. hope this helps. lewisdre4m.
